Alan Turing, a mathematicians and computer scientist designed a machine named as ’Turning ma- chine’. This machine can test whether the computers can make decisions or not. John Me Carthy, a computer scientist has introduced the word Artificial intelligence in the word of computer source.

Discipline is an important virtue in one’s life. Discipline means complete obedience to certain rules and regulations. Life without discipline is just like a house without a roof. It is absolutely essential for a successful life. Discipline is the struc- tural and fundamontal unit of a successful personality, It is essential for us at home, for soldiers on the battlefield, for students in school, and for players on the layground,

Deforestation is the cutting down of trees in forests. It happens for many reasons. People need land for forming, build- ings adn coads. They also use trees forwood, and papaer. Moreover, when trees are removed, the environment suffers. Trees help clear the air by taking in carbon dioxide. Without trees, the air gets dirtier forests are home to many animals an without trees, they lose this homes. Deforestastion can also causes soil erosion, which means the ground becomes loose and can lead to floods. We must work together to proteect our forests one way is to plant trees. People can also use less pa- per and recycle more, protecting trees will help keep our planet healthy. The huge population needs sheter, agricultural pond, fuel, furnature etc.
In conclusion, deforestation poses a significant threat to the planet’s health and biodresity, largest action is needed to address this issue.
(v) Floods : Causes and Impacts
A flood is the overflow of a large amount of water on land that is usually dry, causing land to be submerged. Floods can result from heavy rainfall, overflowed rivers or lakes, storm surges from cyclones, or the failure of dams or leaves. Floods hapen when there is too much rain and water covers the land.
When rainfall exceeds the capacity of the grolind and drainage systems to absorb it particularly in mountains, a sudder increase in temperature can ause rapid melting and overflowing of river’s. The collapse of man-made structures designed to hold back water can lead to massine uncontrolled releases.

(i) Fire-Hymn
The poem ‘Fire Hymn’ is composed by the poet ‘Keki N. Daruwalia’ who is the recipient of ’Sahitya Akademi Award1 and ’Commonwealth poetry Award1. Keki N. Daruwala is an Indo Anglian poet. He is a Parsi. He wrote poems in his own words. In this poam, the poet has presented a realistic scene of funeral rites performed after death at the burning ghat where dead bodies of Hinduism are burnt. Ons day the poet went with his father to a nearby burning ghat. There, he saw the unburnt dead bodies. In the second stanza of the poem the poet witnessed the immoral behaviour of the fire because dead bodies were not completely burnt. It was an immoral behavior of the fire. The poet’s father said to him that he could witness half burnt fingers and how the bone remains that had not been burnt were left at the ghat. The poet then said that it seemed sometimes that fire forgot that it was dead. The poet disclosed his religion that he was a Zorastrian, which was a Parsi religion, who believed that there was a continuing struggle in the world between the forces of light and dark and in his religion fire was worshiped so his child fingers clenched with pain. The poet could not see the sins of fire because he was a child and he swore to save fire from the sin of forgetting it’s dead.
(ii) Now the Leaves are Falling Fast
In the second stanza the poet was frustrated by the behavior of selfish modern men. The poet explained that the messengers of death were present everywhere in different forms, to snatch human happiness. People show. the feeling of fake love to one another. Poet also said that the hands that were active once would become ice cold after death by which
he meant that the people who were alive today would die tomorrow. People had confined themselves. They were suffering from the sense of loneliness in which they lived and died. In the third stanza the poet talked about hundreds of dead bodies which were being carried in wooden coffins at the back of people by raising their arms stiffly and expressing sharp disapproval or criticism of humans because of their behaviour or actions. The dead people were going empty handed as they were mocking the false attitude of human beings. Perhaps they were saying that they were not taking away anything this world with themselves. old
In the fourth stanza the poet compared the lives men to the leafess woods. He talked about how starving wicked and ugly creatures like wolves were searching for their prey in this world. As the entlemen dared not to oppose them, they remained silent. Since the world had deteriorated too much, no angel would come to rescue them. (iii) The Soldier
The poem “The Soldier” has been composed by war poet Rupert Brooke. This is a beautiful patriotic poem. It is a nice poem of fourteen lines which is called ‘Sonnet’.
In the first stanza of the poem ‘The Soldier’ the poet admires England and expresses his gratitude to it. The poet is himself a soldier and he has gone to fight against another. country for his country. According to him, a soldier lives and dies for His country. The poet wants to die in battle for his country.
He says as if he dies in a foreign land fighting for his motherland, he will be buried in that land. He wants the plot of land, where his dead body will be buried. And should be treated as part and parcel of England. He remembers the roads, rivers, flowers, sun, and air of England with fondness. He cannot forget the laughter of his friends with whom he spent some time of his life. His country has contributed a lot to the growth of his personality. He was born and brought ufi there. So, he is ready to sacrifice his life for his motherland.
In the second stanza of the poem the poet wanted his readers to consider the way in which his soul, through death, would be made pure. He says that his country has given him flowers of love and the air to breathe. All these things show the poet’s deep love for his motherland. The poet would return to the sights and sounds of his home country and to the beautiful dreams that were as happy as England’s daytime. The poet wanted the laughter to be shared with English friends and He would return to England’s gentleness which lived in the English minds that were at peace under the English sky. The poet painted a very joyous, peaceful picture of life after death that would be much like his Happiest times spent in England.
Thus, in this poem, the poet shows his Patriotism for his country. This poem is a patriotic poem that is full of love for bngland.
